I'm going to break away from my WIP ideals and proclaim this... I am rough ridin' sick of AMC.
Walking Dead- Getting more pointless by the Episode
Hell on Wheels- This show is going to be terrible and people are going to be jerking it off nonstop
The Killing- LOL
Breaking Bad- I like it, but now more than anything because I feel like I have to.
Mad Men- Could have condensed the entire series so far into a season and a half and the Who is Donald Draper plot was super rough ridin' pointless.

Flame away white people :comeatme:

Breaking Bad is not in the same ballpark as the Wire. It really upset me that many WIP thought it was.

I'm behind on Mad Men. I think the who is Don Draper stuff is mildly interesting. Have not seen the other shows.

Haven't watched Breaking Bad yet. Only watched about 4-5 episodes of Mad Men season 1 (more or less b/c people kept insisting it was great). Did not really pull me in.  :dunno:

mad men sucks.  i made it less than 5 mins into the first episode and turned it off.

i never watched the killing but thought it appeared intriguing.

breaking bad, seemed ok for the 7 episodes i watched.  i got bored with it.

hell on wheels.  more like crap on tv (admittedly i have never watched it but i can tell it sucks)

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

The Killing is one of the top two or three things on TV this past year.

After reading about The Killing a little, I am intrigued by its fresh take on the cop show genre:

Quote
The main character is Sarah Linden (Mireille Enos), an experienced homicide detective who is about to retire at a young age to follow her fiancé (Callum Keith Rennie) to Sonoma, California. On her last day on the job, Linden is partnered with a rookie Homicide detective Stephen Holder (Joel Kinnaman), who has recently transferred from an undercover assignment in vice and narcotics. Holder's erratic and aggressive style contrasts with Linden's more reserved demeanor.

I enjoyed the Killing. I also like Mad Men and love Breaking Bad. I thought The Walking Dead was great during season 1 but it is losing me. Hell on Wheels seems pretty meh so far, but there have only been 2 episodes. I'm willing to watch 3 or 4 before abandoning it.

I'm enjoying Happy Endings on ABC. Sitcom, so its a little lame. But it was funny last night.

yeah. it's pretty decent and seems to be getting better.

Thanks rd. Thought it was just me, felix rex, and mrs. felix rex on the Happy Endings train. CNS Casey really had me reeling with his hurtful post.

and the volume off and the lights out and your back turned to the tv. that happy endings show is pretty decent.

also what i find funny is that the broke girls show that whitney cummings is a co producer or something for might actually be better than the show she's on. i mean, how does that happen?

The Life and Times of Tim (HBO Cartoon) is maybe the funniest television program I've ever watched.

New season coming in December.

Yes. Absurdly good. Kept expecting it to fall off.

Parks and Rec is the only sitcom worth a crap on TV right now.  And it's really good.  Whitney is sort of a train wreck that you can't turn away from.  Maybe cuz she's hot, but she's never been funny.

Man, great episode of Community tonight. The talk soup guy wearing the bald thing was comedy gold.  And I thought putting "anus" on the school flag was a gag for the ages. Because it looks like a Latin word! Ha! l Maybe I was wrong about Community???

Btw, the best apart about the office right now is watching it thrash around before dying. They should make that their promo message this year: Tonight on the office, Jim jumps two sharks with his pregnant wife on the motorcycle behind him while Dwight wakes up and discovers it was all a dream. Oh, and Andy lacks confidence about something while Daryl polishes his cool black guy facade, leaving Kevin confused...and hungry!

It's sad.  Andy and Daryl get too much face time.

shows should have a 3 or 4 season limit. Some exceptions can be made for classics.
