I've been considering Severance. My wife thinks it might be too scary/gory/disturbing for her. She doesn't like scary/gory/disturbing things, but she does like suspenseful/thriller things.

Is it more scary/gory/disturbing or suspenseful/thriller?

i'm trying to steer away from recency bias but Severance s1 is near the top of list for shows i've enjoyed watching. it's the perfect combination of mind eff and don't-know-what's-going-on half the time that i enjoy. and the concept is so brilliant.

Guys, we are almost done with Manifest. It is a mostly ridiculous and horrible show that I would never recommend to anyone, but we have enjoyed binging the crap out of it as a family thing. My kids are already asking what we should watch next. We rarely watch much tv so I know this will run its course, but i'm probably going to have to have something in the bag after these last few episodes. Manifest is basically terrible Lost, so I was thinking Lost, but i've seen it. It's been forever as I watched on network when it came out so i'm not opposed. Anything else you recommend for a family with tween kids?

I don't imagine there's many people this would appeal to, but I really enjoy the Harley Quinn animated series on MAX. Very funny. It can be gory, which I only say as evidence that it's definitely not a kids show. It takes a lot of canon from the recent live action movies and combines it with comic book canon.

great show, the first 5-6 seasons are awesome.  it gets kinda sketchy towards s9-10.  I have the entire catalog on my dvr.

One French one that she really likes solves mysteries surrounding art thieves and forgeries and such. I thought it surely had to be just a particular episode, but nope, they built a whole show around art related mysteries.
