Saw a TikTok that joking the producer thought Brendan Gleeson would be perfect and asked for that Irish actor from Banshees of Inisherin and In Bruges

Through 5 episodes my balls are still gripped but to a lesser extent. And it's more and more clear that this should be on a network channel, which makes me wish it didn't have my balls at all. But plot holes be damned, it does.

Nobody Wants This was pretty much what you'd expect for a show that stars Kristen Bell and Adam Brody and was marketed as a very Judd Apatow feel. Would not have watched solo, but the wife and I enjoyed it.

I had and continue to have a very, very, very, very, very strong suspicion that the writers and producers of Lost did not begin that show with the full story in place and made crap up on the fly.

The things that seem obvious to me are people’s motives, not necessarily what’s happening on the island. There’s also been 1 or 2 things where I’m thinking “I know I saw that & the character did too, but they haven’t cared about it for 4 episodes”. I’m pretty sure they did that on purpose because 20 years ago you’d forget about it over a couple months, compared to now when you can binge and keep watching for it to come back up.

If it’s like the last Star Wars trilogy where they completely change everything movie-to-movie / season-to-season then I’ll be pissed. However, I don’t think it would be beloved if that was the case.

They basically had a story for 3 seasons including the ending, but had to fill in 3 additional seasons of filler because of network TV.
