I in real life saw probably every single episode as they aired when I was a child. My parents even purchased a video cassette recorder machine to tape the episodes we would not be home to watch in real time.

I didn't watch every episode, but I watched quite a bit, it came on after Knight Rider! I was not old enough to truly appreciate the show, it looked and sounded cool. It might be time for a rewatch.

Have you guys watched ‘Sprung’? I’m not sure how I found it because it’s on Freevee. I think that’s an Amazon thing. Anyway I’m 4 episodes in and it’s really good. Martha Plimpton is in it and she’s great. If anyone watches it let me know.

I meat an older student my freshman year at K-State who told me his cousin fell victim to Dahmer and he was "that kinda guy". I literally didn't know much about Dahmer at the time, but I'll never forget him telling me how his cousin fell victim to Dahmer for being "that type of guy".

re: the Peripheral i've decided that Westworld was too much of a mind eff to try and watch weekly, and so pretty soon here I am going to start the whole thing over, from the beginning, and binge it all the way through to see if maybe i can understand wth is actually happening. And if that strategy is effective then i will try to watch the periph (that's what all the industry big shots are calling it, the periph, if you want to sound cool at parties or whatever)

I'd never heard of Pennyworth until about a week ago and started it with pretty low expectations. I've been very pleasantly surprised. It's much darker than I expected it to be

Started and finished The White Lotus yesterday and it was awesome. I loved how the writers set up the premise in the very first scene then built the entire series around answering that single question. They did an equally great job stringing the viewer along with the answer to the question, there were several possibilities throughout and it was never apparent until the very end.

And they casted her with Alexandra Daddario and Jennifer Coolidge. Gotta wonder what the casting director and the producers had in mind with that. The scene where they had Rachel walking in front of Olivia with the horribly fitting bikini top was gratuitous.

This is the semi-lighthearted, high-quality content I crave. Thank goodness for HBO.
