I think the entire problem with so many of the things in game of thrones is that they felt a need to make things have a nice bow on them, it suggests that there is an “end of history” in a world that big you won’t know what will happen in the future, everything fundamentally cannot be resolved, so the more they tried to fight that the worse it was.

Jay and Silent Bob strike back came out 2 years before RotK. I think you’re conflating with Clerks II maybe?

Watched the Hawkeye series with my folks this last week while I’ve been visiting. Pretty fun! I’ve only seen like 5 of the MCU movies so I’m sure I’ll missing tons, but I enjoyed it

My dad and I mini-binged the first three episodes the other night. Really well done, and probably an instant-classic modern western, which is hard to do.

Im really enjoying this season as well. I didn’t finish the original series, so i’ve missed some plot lines, but this one feels incredibly well done.

I enjoyed Vigil - A six-episode series about a murder on a submarine on Peacock. Six episodes were about right the right length on this one.

I think that they have filled in back stories so that you can enjoy this season pretty much on it's own with minimal knowledge of the original series.

They're not terrible though, they were underrated. I did think the storyline of season 3 was too similar to season 1.

It is the best season of tv, but hard to compare it to something with more longevity.
