ALERT steve dave and dickstone: this week's Last O.G. included both a romantic fist attachment and someone tazing himself in the junk.

Haven't watched it yet, I'm a week behind, but this season has been wack.

I have an impression that almost everyone except tracy morgan has this show as their side gig and the show has to keep changing what the premise is depending on who's around.  Sometimes even within the same episode it goes from funny sitcom to gangster movie.

YES! And it gets too heavy handed with narratives, just be a damn comedy.

I was hoping it all ended, now we're roped into another season of this mediocrity.

The kid will turn himself in, all will be forgiven as self-defense, evil councilmember will be the only one to get in trouble, community center will get a bonus and tracy morgan put in charge, and there’ll be new episode plots depending on what actors don’t have better paying crap to do.

I've invested too much time to pull the cord now and the time commitment is easy. I just want it to be better, funny, the sitcom we started watching 4 seasons ago or whatever. The last sitcom I quit after multiple seasons was The Good Place and I regret doing so.

I also quit Good Girls, This Is Us, and Grey's Anatomy. Maybe we can discuss shows you quit watching after devoting multiple seasons and why you did so?

Did you give up Westworld and GOT because you felt as if the wild ass plot lines had run their course? That's exactly why I gave up The Good Place and Good Girls.

True story, I didn’t miss a single episode of Miami vice during its original TV run, because my parents were early adopters on the VCR, and we would tape them if we were not going to be home. I was very young, and it was a pretty questionable parenting decision by my folks.

Yep. I actually just watched the one I DVR'd right before Starz was getting switched to something else and in which Don Johnson had amnesia and thought he was the drug dealer he'd gone undercover as.

Within the show, how tf did these guys at all keep their cover in the small wold of 80's miami drugs?

Yes.  For WW— I quit after seeing the end of season 2/first episode of season 3

For GOT the last season was so shitty, I didn’t watch a few episodes then watched the last two.  I hated the last episode.

I've only watched the first episode but the new MacGruber is fun if you liked MacGruber.

Weeds is probably the first show I remember being heavily invested in that I just couldn’t watch anymore. Dexter is another one that I fell out of love with and never came back.

I loved the first two seasons of true blood and then it got progressively worse and I never watched the final season.

I think I made it two episodes into s3 of westworld before quitting.

I don't know that I've totally quit any other shows.
