I loved City On A Hill. I remember the first episode wondering why Ben A or Matt D wasn’t in a show set in Boston and then I saw they were both the Exec Producers.

Watched ep 1 of Loki. No idea. I guess it was ok. I'm getting tired of these shows (mainly superhero) that make references to 17 other shows or movies that you have to know to figure out what is going on. If I wanted to get on the internet and read for an hour after watching to figure out what happened or who that guy was, i could just read for 10 more minutes and not watch the show at all.

Yeah, superhero shows have jumped the shark. Or should I say jumped the Stark.

Binged "The Night Of" this week. I really enjoyed it, but the time devoted in Rikers was a lot darker than what I'm accustomed to for crime dramas.

I hated what they did with the second lawyer, also the main character arc was so bad it was unbelievable.

It's not a new show, but it was a good new show for me to devour. I would have preferred that they follow and build on some of the twists that were introduced in their investigation, but the show seemed more focused on Nas' life in prison.

Do you have HBOmax now? There is a ton of good stuff on there! If you are looking for OLD shows, Deadwood is one of my favorites. I also think Sopranos is incredible, probably the best OAT. I do really like the Wire and think that the best parts of the Wire are better than the best parts of the Sopranos, but the Sopranos was incredibly consistent.

Have you guys seen Crime Scene Kitchen hosted by Joel McHale? It's pretty OK. Also Lego Masters season 2 is out and it's great.

That was pretty good. I really do think we need to video record the reaction of everyone as they read these blogs and then make that available to the poster to review. You would have seen me chuckle at that. It would have been unfortunate if someone was reading it while naked, but that's the cost of progress.

It would be much easier to do a black mirror-esque episode with the concept. By the time the idea is done being novel, it's over. I'm still watching because an interesting concept goes a long way for me but at some point it'll just need to be a good show.

I'm sure it has been discussed on here before but I freaking love Peaky Blinders on Netflix.

I watched it a couple years ago and just finished season 1 again.

It helps to watch it with captions on as those cheeky Brits can be hard to understand.

My favorite part is all the WW1 references and how it ties into the plot.
