I finished succession season 2. I like it. There were some parts that were a little eye roll-y, it overall I really like it and I think they built enough depth to the characters that it is interesting and not just funny.

i finished Schitt's Creek and it is just a remarkable show. the "farewell" mini-doc thing on Netflix expanded on my thoughts about it pretty well.

Final episode of MoE didn't meet expectations. They decided to make it more about feelings and emotions instead of going out with a gripping chase or hunt for the murderer.

yeah I thought it was a great ending to one of the better shows i’ve watched in a while. nothing on netflix can touch hbo’s original content.

I believe he wrote, produced, and directed this season.

He and yang have wrote all of it. It’s their show. It’s better with aziz in it though. The second season was absolutely fantastic.

MoE had some pretty serious plot holes that they didn't really resolve. First 6 epis were fantastic, ended w/ kind of a fizzle

I finished Generation War last night just because I had started it and wanted to finish. I don't think I would watch it again. Relentlessly bleak. Mostly Nazis doing horrible things (both to each others and to non-Nazi's).

Binged "The Night Of" this week. I really enjoyed it, but the time devoted in Rikers was a lot darker than what I'm accustomed to for crime dramas.

Do you have HBOmax now? There is a ton of good stuff on there! If you are looking for OLD shows, Deadwood is one of my favorites. I also think Sopranos is incredible, probably the best OAT. I do really like the Wire and think that the best parts of the Wire are better than the best parts of the Sopranos, but the Sopranos was incredibly consistent.

Already seen both seasons of Succession and it was good. I haven't watched The Sopranos, but I'll be starting it soon. I'll reluctantly admit that I'm almost finished with the first season of Deadwood and I'm not completely hooked.

Perhaps because there haven't been any gun fights. It may also be too low budget.

Shows that I currently have on my watchlist include The Expanse, Bloodlines, Big Little Lies and The Sopranos. I think I'm going to start with The Sopranos and I might dive in this weekend.

Did not like The Night Of, but HBO has some great series. Silicon Valley is great for the sitcom type fans although the first 1-2 seasons are probably its best.

I should probably watch the Sopranos. Currently rewatching Hannibal on Prime, which is a personal favorite although never hugely popular.

I did not like those character changes as well. Started with a great first episode and then fizzled out.

If Deadwood is too talky and not shooty enough for you well you suck but also try Rome (hbomax)
