I have never watched Lost and am thinking of changing that.

I saw a clip of them putting him in all the makeup and thought "couldn't they find someone who is a better actor that looks more like The Penguin?" Apparently not.

Apparently not.Saw a TikTok that joking the producer thought Brendan Gleeson would be perfect and asked for that Irish actor from Banshees of Inisherin and In Bruges
The Day of the Jackal has my balls in a vice after an episode.
The thing about lost is that if it was made today it would be like 70 percent shorter
Nobody Wants This was pretty much what you'd expect for a show that stars Kristen Bell and Adam Brody and was marketed as a very Judd Apatow feel. Would not have watched solo, but the wife and I enjoyed it.

Then the directors saying nope that's not what is going to happen and then that's exactly how it ended.

my impression of Lost is nothing is ever obvious and nothing ever gets explained, and that's ok. kind of amazing this show was on network TV 20 years ago tbh

I had and continue to have a very, very, very, very, very strong suspicion that the writers and producers of Lost did not begin that show with the full story in place and made crap up on the fly.
A Man on the Inside is pretty good through two episodes. I trust a Michael Schur show so I have high hopes.
