Marcus should go someplace where the coach lets the players do whatever they want to on offense.

Can we start a list of schools:  Coach lets you free lance 100% of the time
NBA?

No more stupid than the concept of Marcus Foster somehow being in a "restrictive" offense at K-State when the eye test says that most of the time Marcus pretty much does whatever he wants, whenever he wants.

Agreed - the second he gets pulled that offense turns into a well oiled machine

With the offense we have, if Marcus was doing what he wanted whenever he wanted, then he'd be taking all but maybe 10-15 shots a game. He touches the ball on every possession but is unselfish to the detriment of the team. If there's a favorable matchup, then Gipson and Nino can score a little bit, but for the most part he is our only decent offensive option and he's absolutely being asked to defer to a bunch of much shittier basketball players.

Marcus is shooting less frequently when he's on the court than he was last year.

Slightly. Also think he isn't get as many good looks. Think he has done a better job this year hitting harder shots. I do think part of Foster success last year had to do with howl well he fitted in to our schemes. This year he is making more plays with raw ability.

First off, where I did say Marcus was doing anything bad or that K-State offense was a well oiled machine with or without Marcus in the game?  Strawmen.

In oscar's first season, Rodney shot the ball 139 more times than anyone else. Last year Marcus shot the ball 169 more times than anyone else, this year, even after missing 3 games, he still has way more shot attempts than anyone else.   It would appear that Bruceketball is offense that needs the McGruder and Foster's of the world to shoot a lot, or when it breaks down (which is a lot) for them to create and/or shoot.

Maybe Foster isn't getting as many shots this year because of many things, like $hitty PG's, but another factor is, he isn't doing the things in games within the structure of the offense where his teammates would anticipate him being open and thus getting the ball to him.

i enjoy him hitting 3 pointers to win the game but i would like to see him be more aggressive and try to get something other than an NBA range 3.

also, in case you were wondering, my dad thinks he shouldnt have turned around and show boated after he hit the 3 because the other team could have scored with the 3.4 seconds or whatever was left.
I think what my friend Mitch is trying to say is that true love is blind.

I feel like we're watching what would have happened between Wooly and Nick Williams if he had stayed for his sophomore season.

Nick would have played with better talent.

That's a very good way of looking at it.

I'm personally going to be a fan of his wherever he goes.

I was crushed when Nick Williams left. I couldn't understand it.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.
