You guys are too dumb to even grasp basic concepts. The '04 recruiting class was one of KU's best classes. There were 13 commitments by this point. The current recruiting class is going to be a smaller class as it is, and already has 12 commitments. The notion that this class is off to a slow start, or any different than previous classes, is laughable. The delusion is so thick that you guys can't even have a rational discussion with opposing fans anymore.

I grasp two concepts. KU has the fewest commitments of the Top 100 Rivals recruiting classes. KU is terrible at football.

How can we BBS better, beems? I'd really like to agree with you, but no mater how long I stare at KU's tiny commit list, I can't help but think that it is poor and signifies a larger recruiting deficiency. I've tried everything.

They matter anyway, but only if there is a somewhat significant difference between schools and only when recruiting is over (unless judging elite programs). Rivals rates # of recruits about on par with good recruits which evens out in the end but in the middle of the process their rankings can be pretty laughable. It makes some sense with elite programs because they aren't getting many 2*s anyway and if they are, usually not early in the process.

I don't know why Beems is defending their recruiting. They have a small class so far and one recruit that is good, a few 3*s and mostly 2*s. He admits Weis isn't doing well, why can't he say the same for their poor recruiting?
