ku track stadium: almost as nice as baylor's

and it's actually on campus.

Yeah loved the fact that a couple of times in the article they mentioned the goal and/or benefit of having the facility on campus and it is only 2 miles from campus.  Went to the 2010 Cats game in Waco.  Didn't pass by campus going to/from the game.  Area the stadium/track complex is in was below meh.  Floyd Casey was very unimpressive but was still better than what I remember KU's Memorial to be.  Also, if Baylor/KU are going to have a new shiny track complex, it is only a matter of time before Texas trumps them both, if they haven't already.

Texas just shrugged

Jesus, that's impressive.   Why doesn't Texas just win everything, all of the time?

I suspect Charlie Strong was not their first choice...they probably wanted Saban...so the answer to your question may be no.

Is Baylor trying to copy us. I guess the only difference is that instead of expanding their stadium, they said "eff it lets build a new one which is pretty much like the old one, but new and w/o a tarp"

Why are some ku fans so fact averse when it comes to recognizing that even before WSC was built, BSFS still had nearly twice as many suites than kums and absolutely had twice as many stadium clubs (now 3x's as many) with loge and outdoor seating than kums has??

Strange.

You never know when you might fall and need a hand up, and its a pretty safe bet that the Kansas University football program will always have its hand out.

No that any KU fans will see that quote unless they come to this thread... but wow... would really put pressure on big Chaz if they actually gave a crap about football knowing they could have had JH.

It's pretty cute that phog.net believes he was a 99% done deal until some crazy thing happened to put the kaibash on it.

"Do you want to go to Lawrence and talk about that position with them?"

Confirmed that phog.net loves to convince themselves they had a shot.
