I suspect we may not get anything similar for the retrofitting of the old indoor into the new indoor track.   

The Niles and Frazier in me would like to hear that Gene has changed his mind on pausing to take a breath on facilities, and will use the Tang momentum to fund raise for the total renovation of Bramlage (and don't even bother bringing up building a whole new place, because in regard to that, the Rubicon has been crossed and the boats have been burned).

I'll be honest, I'd be 100% fine with us KU Memorial Stadium'ing Bramlage for the next 20 years. As long as they're giving us some renderings every couple years acting like it'll happen, it would scratch my itch.

Would love to just be able to see what these architects can come up with to transform the building.

I take it you believe what works for JCCC West will work for Kansas State?  It took the JCCC West fan base an awful long time to remove that track surrounding their football field, and likely only did it because of ridicule from K-Staters.  I get the impression Cats fans have a higher facility IQ.
