I bet most op'rs go to the airport more than downtown  :th_twocents:

go all the time pre covid, and have gone 5 times since covid, which is lot more than most do so yes
The OP has a river market and I have to deal with less, gross smelly looking people from Missouri now. It's a win-win.

There isn't even a river in OP.  where are you going to the river market?

They have a market with less smelly, rich people. It's beautiful! No bums banging on the side walks and no construction.  #elite

while OP does have a farmer's market, it is located at one of the highest points in the city and therefore there is no river there

Definitely.  I haven't been to the OP farmer's market in quite awhile but last time I went there were "farmers" selling produce with del monte stickers on them that were clearly bought at price chopper and marked up for the rubes.

All our suburban friends can finally enjoy some KC places they are too confused to park at when the new terminal arrives:

ya i was really surprised with the decision, i’m not sure how long it will last though.
there’s very little demand for expanded food options in our airport, but it’s not my money to lose although kinda it is but thursday’s whatever

All those food choices at a regional airport are bizzare to me. Nobody has layovers in KC. I guess targeting the dads that drag the family to the airport 3 hours early? At most you need a coffee shop, 12 bars, and 3 Hudson Books.

Amazing quick pivot from "KCI has nothing" to "KCI has TOO MUCH"

11 Million passengers a year and if you have any chance of bringing in more flights like a SWA city of emphasis, got to have some amenities.  Southwest has already said they wanted to layover more customers at KCI but couldn't due to the absolute shitiness

edit - right number

Yep, in 2 years max 90% of those places are going to be gadget stores and/or McDonalds.
