I'm in Boomers. I'd call it "Boomers and young families buying recently deceased Boomers' houses."

don't like all trade/union workers live north of the river?

Blue springs I'd say is "people who have Ozarks weekend houses" all seem to live there.

"used to be italians now all Vietnamese" for Columbus park

"Gay guys remodeling houses" for Pendleton Heights

I put "Auto and Casino workers live here" up by liberty.

I'll trust your pendleton heights assessment and add it to the map but I think your off on Blue Springs. I view it  as more of a chiefs superfan/blue collar middle class type area.  :dunno:

Cross post from hyper detailed maps thread.

Any feedback? I don't have many stereotypes/judgemental labels for the Lee's summit/Blue Springs/Northland area since I never go there.

What other labels can we add?

Yea I'm thinking Lee's Summit probably.  I was thinking like plumbers, pipe fitters, electricans, they all seem to live up Gladstone type area.

I've been taking a lot of walks to the plaza and there simply isn't a nice way to get there to get over the midtown elevation and cross 31st/linwood. Can't wait. Great news.

In what way wacky? People need more transit options in a bad economy? Agreed!

I thought this toy train was unnecessary funding before the pandemic, why would I change my mind now? Especially now?...

This is fed money in grants. If it didn't go to your city it would have went somewhere else. Your taxes either way, might as well use them for once!

We have no other inner city projects right now that we could put this focus towards? With fed $? I hope your people have better projects than this right now to get grants for.

Travis Kelce has done more for KCMO in the past few months than KCMO has itself.

Not with that money.  You should look at this as making the downtown current line way more useful. It's one of the heaviest transit corridors in the metro.

Just admit you don’t want to extend the streetcar for “economic reasons” and I might respect your take on this. You, just like chodecat, want shiny new things.
