I saw some pictures of I-35 being flooded heading into downtown just on the Missouri side.

what happened on the plaza last night was not a protest, it was a a riot
I watched from my living room as stores were being looted by organized gangs
rough ridin' ridiculous the mayor didn’t institute a curfew

Just go downstairs at 7:55 tonight and remind everyone that there is an 8 p.m. curfew. Problem solved.

Clams what we got down there? I tucked myself home by 8 like a good compliant citizen.

Hope you are safe.

things didn’t get really ugly last night until 10:30, but the cops didn’t have the curfew on their side to dissipate the crowds.  hoping I don’t see a repeat from last night.  the plaza is completely closed since last night with kcpd on every entrance blocking egress
went out this am to help clean and it was pretty depressing to see what they did
that tear gas ain’t no joke either

FYI if you work in KCMO but live outside of KCMO and have been working from home you can get a refund on the 1% KCMO earnings tax for the days you worked from home.
