My niece is on a women's varsity team at KU, and she said that Adidas shoveled shoes, jerseys, bags, and all sorts of crap at her each month.  She doesn't even know what to do with all the stuff, except to donate it to Goodwill.  I'm pretty sure that Adidas is passing this gear off to KU, and including the full retail price of the gear as meeting their contract obligation to KU.   That Lew sure is a shrewd dealmaker.

I would say Ebay, but the auctions fees would probably be preventative given that there is no way she could get more than $15 for new Adidas shoes.  Maybe find a store in the really run down section of town and try to barter?

The story illustrates the fact that ku isn't having to buy vacuum cleaners to pick up all that money from Adidas, that a substantial portion of it is not money, but Adidas gear that is largely going to waste.  My apologies for not casting that narrative in color-by-numbers simplicity that you could understand.

Bill should have praised those unis rather than saying how much he hated them and how he was simply doing adidas a favor by wearing them in one exhibition post season game in Kansas City.

$26 million in cash and equipment is a lot more than what K-State's deal with Nike is worth.  Just seems like you guys are really butthurt about everything related to KU.
