K-State even or better in the rest of the 'burbs on the Kansas side. Mission Hills, Prairie Village, Leawood, Lenexa, and Overland Park are all KU stomping grounds. Olathe and Shawnee are K-State all the way. The KC metro has really changed since you moved to the Pacific Northwest bud. That's what I'm trying to tell you. Was Prairie Village a squawk's nest in 1997? For sure, but this isn't 1997.Pfffftttt... all you have to do is breathe on a KU grad, and before you know it, you're in Prairie Village eating brisket and drinking Boulevard IPA's.Where in PV would they be eating brisket? This. When have you been "hey, bro...I want some brisket. Let's go to PV." Spoken like someone who has never had amazing KC bbq while drinking microbrews.

The z-man is the best bbq sandwich you can get in the world. Jack stack has the best baked beans. Gates is the place I have to tell tourists to avoid the most. Why did this thread also turn into a bbq thread? Oh well.

As a PV resident, I will always prefer original over new Leawood location. Something about the gas fumes make it better.
the only good restaurant in PV is BRGR
Olathe has more ksu grads than ku grads.
