Still convinced I should.

you're still wrong.

3 of 21 in the past 5 games is concerning.

It's a slump, he'll be fine. I hope he keeps gunning.

Yep, can't shoot yourself out of a slump if you're not shooting.

It would be concerning from Rodney or Will (or now Shane).

But it's secondary for Angel, and while he's doing everything else fabulously, his outside shooting isn't really a "concern" at all.

He's by far the most important player on our team, and we're winning right now because he's playing awesomely.

There is nothing more concerning than a PG who refuses to shoot the 3, though. If he isn't willing to shoot, the defense will just sag off, and Angel's dribble drives become a thing of the past. Angel just needs to keep shooting. I have faith that he can be a consistent 30% 3-point shooter.

Where's Angel?  Did he get too much sand in his shoes on the way down?

He misses quite a few inside shots. I wouldn't call them "layup" in the sense of them being easy buckets.  Even still, it's pretty trivial when compared to his overall value to the team.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

Yeah he did the dumb angel things tonight. It's hard to convert people to team angel when he has a two game stretch like this

It shouldn't be hard. Only dumb people are resisting #teamangel at this point.

Apparently oscar confirmed Angel's diseased knee today on 610. Said that they're going to hopefully get it fixed after the season.

Isn't this like his third knee thing since hs?

Didn't he sit out his senior year practices and play only in games die to bad knees?

yes, at least three (kstate reporting is so bad).  yes, he had knee problems all sr. year.

He seems to have learned to play with it for the most part. He does a nice job of making up for lateral quickness with change of tempo with the basketball. Hopefully the university gets him to a good doc in the off-season and we get healthy Angel next year, who leads us to a national championship single handedly.
