Love the people that bitch about how much the vacations cost. The president is the most powerful person in the world and ridiculously underpaid, he better get some good perks to go along with that 400k he makes a year.

Especially when they think he's just spending millions of dollars to go shopping, and not to fly security vehicles/personnel etc overseas

eff that, he should fly coach and rent a compact just like the rest of us

My favorite part is that anyone complaining about the $$$ spent for Obama's vacations had no problem whatsoever with previous presidents doing the exact same thing

someone shared something from sdBro Tim Huelskamp, so I checked out his page. It's great and would fit into this thread well. HERE'S AN EXAMPLE (yes it's a link to whitehousedossier.com):

What the hell is this... A picture is worth a thousand words. SOMEONE WAS AT THE RIGHT PLACE AT THE RIGHT TIME WITH A CAMERA. IT WAS REPORTED THAT PRESIDENT OBAMA WAS FURIOUS THAT HE WAS CAUGHT ON CAMERA AND IT WAS PUBLISHED AND TRIED TO BLOCK IT. The name of the book Obama is holding is called: The Post-American World, and it was written by a fellow Muslim.(Fareed Zakaria) "Post" America means: The World "After" America !" If each person sends this to a minimum of twenty people on their address list, In three days, all people in The United States of America would have the message. I believe this is one photo that really should be passed around.

Friend of lib: I'm just saying that it's not worth the effort. Football brings in tons of money for the university, therefore it will always be top priority. I don't find wasting time on something that will never go away beneficial. Do I think it's messed up? Yep. Do I think it will never change? Lol no.

Friend of: The thing to remember is that the athletic fund and the school's general fund are separate entities. Also, most athletic departments contribute a portion of their revenues to the general education fund. Tution fees are not distributed to athletic departments. And I'm guessing that the majority of the funding for the new facility was from corporate and private donors...

Radical That's fine, but the point is college is hardly about education anymore. I'm sure there are more scholarly departments that could have used some of that private and/or corporate funding, because God knows state governments don't give a rat's ass about education. Kansas sure doesn't.

Friend of: Just checked the facts on the funding. Phil Knight (co-founder of Nike) largely funded the new facility. He has also donated a ton of money to different educational programs and cancer research as well.

Mods, feel free to move to the Amazing Animal Stories thread.

Quote
This is a very sad story about a bear... Everybody should heed the warnings not to feed wildlife because they become dependent and don't forage for themselves any longer. It is such a tragedy to see what has been done to our country's wildlife. The photo below captures a disturbing trend that is beginning to affect U.S. wildlife.
Animals that formerly were self-sufficient are now showing signs of belonging to the Democrat Party. They have apparently learned to just sit and wait for the government to step in and provide for their care and sustenance. This photo is of a black bear in Montana turned Democrat.
He's nicknamed Bearack Obearma.
It is believed that he has become a campground organizer.

Yes. Do you? I read 1984. My point is he hates corporate and anything with money. He's so rough ridin' out there that he's leaving to LA to be an actor with no plan after getting a degree. Once he's unsuccessful like he was before, he'll be asking for hand outs like he has before, smartass.
