I'm confused at most of these though as I thought that the college educated people were the ones that supported Hillary and trump got all the poor people in the rust belt and poor states that want to make 60k by driving rivets into metal all day again or whatever. Hillary really didn't carry the college educated vote like most expected. She barely even got more than half of college educated women I think.

I'm talking about expectations. Hillary was expected to carry all segments of the college educated vote. She did not win among white men and women with college degrees like many were predicting.

to the somewhat obvious point that I was making, poor uneducated people with no skills and no training put trump in office. hopefully he'll be able get them those 35/hour widget factory jobs they need to be happy/content.

All poor non-college people are unskilled? All college people are skilled? You realize you can get a highly skilled job without college, and can get (pay for) a college degree in hundreds of skilless areas of study (trivia, more or less), like literature, anthropology, popular culture, and pretty much all social and human "sciences" etc.

From what I've seen and heard (and to _33's point), the biggest reason Hillary lost is because she couldn't get a lot of the Democratic base to turn out and vote.
