just now getting to this... doherty clearly has no concept of the fact that the team is basically the same as last year. clearly didn't want to say frank had done a better job. "shannon spradling" was rough ridin' stupid.
but, i can't really hate on him that much because i say the same crap when i watch our games. said it last year as well. we have little skill, particularly on offense. we don't hit close shots around the rim. doesn't seem like we have anyone that can create their own shot. frustrating to watch. frank just knew how to coach that type of team better. he recruited them.
i'm not at all trying to argue that oscar is "squeezing every possible bit" out of this team. i feel pretty similar about oscar as our coach as most of you though i'm not quite as vocal about it. and is oscar ruining them? maybe. but to say there's not that much talent on the team, to me at this point, is not that ridiculous of a statement.
