FWIW, I think Matt Doughehheherety was someone Gottlieb mentioned as a person he would consider as an assistant were he hired at K-State, right? I'm thinking of that 810 interview a day or two before it all came crashing down and we were given oscar Fracking Weber.

Man, I was so jacked after that interview. Literally stopped driving and just listened to Gottlieb hit a home run on every question...

Shannon spradling is too big to be our coach.  I mean, he is a shot caller.  What is the position above AD?  Seems to be the level of power that he likes to exercise.

In all seriousness, the absolute best thing that could have ever happened to EMAW bb is if Will transferred and we were rid of him and his dad.  Worst FP,TC in a long time. Even if we still got rid of Frank, getting rid of our stage 4 Spradling would have been a good move.

Yes, listen to this if you can. It's the very last 5-10 minutes of the interview. You could tell that St. John was dumbfounded during that part of the interview and then he and Jake were both nearly speechless afterwards.

I haven't heard someone make as big a fool of himself on the radio in quite a while.

MD: No talent.
SSJ: Err, what?
MD:  No talent. I went and watched a practice and there's no one on that team that would start for KU.
SSJ:  To be fair, not many Big 12 teams have players that would start for KU. But McGruder is returning All Big 12.
MD:  McGruder sucks. Can't shoot the 3 (!?!?!?), can't create his own shot. Shannon Spradling is okay. oscar Weber is a great coach and he's done a great (!?!?!?) job with this team so far.
