How many coaches do you suppose have been concussed during their playing careers?

any coach that was ever a player at any level

Everybody except Leach?  :dunno:

The snyder we know and love today was probably forged from a series of brutal concussions. Back then they didnt track it or give a crap about it. He is just one of the survivors.

Where do you listen to Pat Jones in the morning?

he doesn't come on the sports animal until like 10am, but he was posting about it on twitter

Looking at him, he doesn't look like he could survive the move let alone another harsh winter.

Dan should stay in tx.

I don't want Colin to be our coach. This is going to sound bad (and keep in mind I love him) but I don't think he's super smart. And that's not because of religion or anything stupid like that. I think he learns very well and takes direction better than anyone but that's not the same as intelligent.

I was surprised he only had a 3.0.

I'm not sure. Something tells me there were far fewer helmet-to-helmet hits back when helmets were made of leather.

Yes, QB and DB at Missouri for a year, then transferred to William Jewell. Not sure which position he played where. But if he played QB at Mizzou and was changed to play DB at William Jewell, it would explain why he changes the positions of our QBs so often.

Utah State's Gary Andersen, who guided the Aggies to their first bowl victory in 19 years, will be named Wisconsin's new coach, sources told ESPN.

I think Anderson is a pretty good coach who will do just fine at Wisconsin.

Yeah, USU has actually been pretty decent lately, I assume he is the reason.  Kinda surprised to see him jump from there straight to Wisky though...  though I guess quite a few dudes have had success coming from the midmajor ranks lately though.

Maybe they don't want to spend much on a coach until Hurricane Urban has passed.

This could be. Urban has been known to move out, then move on.

Utah State has historically been a bottom 10 job--WAY behind Utah and BYU on the in-state totem pole, a recruiting base only slightly better than Idaho's, inferior conference membership--and they just ran a train on the WAC which featured two fairly decent teams in San Jose State and Louisiana Tech. I'd say Wisconsin made a pretty good hire aside from having to pay the buyout on his recent extension (I think that's true, right?)
