My thoughts on that:

1. there isn't a LHC Bill Snyder walking through that BB door

2. As who we are, you have to be ok with a stud coach building for a 5-7 yr plan to get out then rinse and repeat.

3. I am all for finding a way to keep BB coaches out of our landfills, but recycling trash never gets you something as high quality as what can be made new and it usually costs you a lot too.

Frank is not a stud coach, he's a good coach, but he's not on the stud level yet.   Nobody said there was a Snyder coming for BB, but it's not asking too much of a guy getting paid nearly $2 million dollars a year to recruit like he's going to be around forever . . . Frank wasn't even close.   In fact, a couple of his recruiting classes were nearly Tom Asbury like . . .  but then again, Frank never had any intention of sticking around.

I would love to speculate on how awesome we would still be with Frank here.

I love having high expectations for wildcat BB.  Thanks to Frank I have learned to have them.

I had them a long time ago, and there's a reason at times I called Frank, "Frank Kruger".

Kruger recruited better, IMHO.

i canceled my season tickets after pullen left.  the writing was on the wall.  also, i only used them for the KU game that year so they were a pretty poor investment (we won!).

That's what we all said at the time, but Kruger left Ski Jones and Jean Deroillore (sp?).  I'd have to dig out my old programs to see who else, but the cupboard wasn't entirely bare.

The Dax fallacy of equating everyone opposed to Currie's handling of the Weber hire as a "Frankite" has no end.  Rarely do you see someone so stubbornly cling to a non sequitur when it has been explained to them repeatedly for months.  Head down, blinders on, fingers in the ears, just keep typing Dax.  smh.

JR Rider. If Kruger could have gotten him to stick with KSU(after signing him in  HS, he might have actually stuck around longer. I don't think Altman had much of a chance of holding on to Rider once he transferred to the Cali jc.

Not sure if you missed kenpoms tweet earlier, didn't sniff the top 25 actually.   Frank left a solid roster though.

do you want three years of weber, or do you want ten?  fans have very little power to effect change on their university's sports programs, but they'd be idiots not to exercise what little power they do wield.

nothing that you, nor anyone else here does will have any effect on weber's tenure at k-state.  but keep telling yourself that your actions will have some effect because i gotta tell you, your nazi-thing has, in no way, gotten old.

if no one attended a game, he would be gone within two years.  you and all the other spineless nazi retards on this board and elsewhere are responsible for every day beyond those years that i have to suffer with weber and currie installed at my university.

Well, you responded so.... not sure where that leaves us.   Anyhow, maybe oscar can work some of his magic and whip this team into top 25 shape.  Frank certainly wasn't able to get this group anywhere close.

Things I am looking forward to:
1) Getting to see the training facility Friday.  :excited:
2) Seeing an actual basketball game instead of just reading about people complaining about basketball.
3) Seeing BW get kicked out of a game.
4) Returners say they have improved... will like to see how.
5) This new offense.
6) DJamer ... I think he could be really good.
7) Seeing Jordy Nelson at a game.

What I am not looking forward to:
1) What I think will be a decrease in defensive intensity.  :curse:
2) BW's eating habits (I'm assuming he will get TCBY during every timeout)
3) Our first loss. Eff losing...
Never misunderestimate a Wildcat.

Frankites and those that complain about Weber are by and large one in the same as far as this board goes . . . and the more they (you) try and explain themselves (poorly I might add) the more they show that I am correct.

I'm upset because I feel the hiring process was a joke and I feel like Currie ran a successful coach out.  Therefore I will not support his bball program.

A top 25 team at the end of last year?   Let's take a look at the stretch run into post season starting in February, and then post season.

First off lets remind ourselves that K-State went into Feb. with loss at home to OU, and on the road against Iowa state.

Down the regular season stretch K-State  went 6-3 (not bad), but 4 of those wins were against $hitty OSU, A&M, and Tech.   2 quality wins against mu and Baylor.   The usual loss to ku, loss to a mediocre Texas team, owned by the Mayor in Manhattan.

Post Season:  Blown out by Baylor in KC, game was never in doubt.   A win vs a C-USA team in the NCAA tourney-we'll take'em, blown out by Syracuse.
