This got very GPC'ish very quickly.

I can still watch on TV without having to leave work early once a week to drive to Manhattan and spend $1200+ for tickets.  Support isn't an attendance or nothing issue.

Also, this is a two way street.  If you treat it like anything else, what reason does Currie have to try and get a winner in the coaching seat when he can get a Webber?

The way I was reading it, you basically weren't going to support the cats unless they are winning. My bad. I can understand not wanting to leave work early and not wanting to spend that much money. Luckily, I don't have the leave work early problem. Hope you still make it to some games.

Currie wants to hire a winner because he wants K-State to win? Just like everybody else wants? I don't see your point...

pro tip- you read it that way because that's exactly what he said.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

Pretty sorry deal to see so many people are bandwagon fans who consider a coach to be bigger than the program and/or the University.

Sad

Dear Rodney, Angel, Jo etc. etc:

Sorry, but we weren't really there to see you guys, we were there to see a coach.

Warmest Regards:

Bandwagon Frank Martin fans
This post doesn't make any sense, because if Angel, rod, or JO were our coach I'd have season tickets.

K-State went 4 and 4 at home in conference play, 11 and 10 from the start of conference play until the end of the season.    Yet Frankites would have been flocking back to Bramlage this year for more.

But alas I better watch myself, because as I prove how things were sliding so badly under the leadership of the deity Frank Martin, I begin to make the argument for hiring someone better than Weber AND Frank Martin.  (which would have been fine).

Dax, if the people who didn't renew or begrudgingly renewed are telling you it's not about Frank, and they have no reason to lie here on goEMAW, why do you keep saying it's about them choosing Frank over KSU, etc.?

We all want K-state to have a winning basketball team. Except John Currie. He wants us to have a profitable basketball team.

Guys, maybe you should start rating my posts with one star or maybe you should wake Fitz up and tell him to get here and ban me, but you need to do something more effective than what you are doing now.

I mean, my first post in this thread:

I plan on going to several games, but not all of them

That's a rhetorical question right?

No.

I mean, I'm somebody who really struggled with the decision to renew.  Daris didn't renew.  I can 100% tell you that our problems with renewing weren't simply about Frank.  I'm not sure how you can argue with me on what bugged us about renewing.  I'm me, and I talked live with Daris about it.  It's not about Frank.

I partied my ball off with LSOC, CartierFor3 and fanning in that window of time when Frank got fired and it looked like Gottlieb was ours.  I'd have expected my donation requirement to double if we'd GOTT LIEB.

Also, before you list me out Suther's talking points, realize I only put "Frank got fire" above to tweak you a little.  As Fitz would say before I smack him, "let's not go down that road."

I bet he'll be closer to Frank's home games than KSU home games. The definition of a Frankite.

he doesn't go to games. neither does clams. they're just two peas in a pro ksu can do no wrong dork pod that feel the need to judge other cat fans for things that they don't even do themselves. i often imagine them posting together at some wing place on the plaza and giving each other high fives with ranch dressing dipping down their respective hands while simultaneously oogling the young wait staff and slamming miller lite pounders. so gross.

do you want three years of weber, or do you want ten?  fans have very little power to effect change on their university's sports programs, but they'd be idiots not to exercise what little power they do wield.

In baptism only (and forced to go through highschool).  I don’t go to church anymore or give money to the church (and never have personally).
