KC treats it like it's their own

Flemings is prob my favorite chain steak place. I'm not a huge steak and/or 3 hour dinner guy, but I enjoyed the Flemings in Omaha many times during my work traveling days. Is the Drover still open there. Had some good steaks there as well.

I think of cap grille as a kc place because kc is the only place in which I'd be going to one and that's entirely 'clams-related.

Palm is also ok. I think all the nice steak chains I’ve been to are decent.

I guess that makes sense because it’s 99% just having good meat (that’s what she said) and pretty hard to fuckup.

Went to Palm at Caesars this spring.  It was their lunch but I wasn't that impressed.

Yeah, we're a Sullivan's household here.

Pretty sad how the independent steakhouses in the midwest heartland, KC, have all but disappeared.  What's left that's any sort of quality?  Majestic is okay.  New Golden Ox any good?  Stockhill I haven't heard anybody really rave about.  Anton's and Pierponts too I guess.  Anton's meat is good but weird place and weirder owner.

Yeah, they're great for people in the 'burbs. It's like, actually reasonably priced steaks.

Hell I had no idea capital grille was a chain
KC treats it like it's their own

FWIW they do in Newton, Mass too.

I lived in Newton, MA once upon a time.  Nice town.
