TIL 801 chophouse is a chain
I actually went to the Omaha outpost this week. It was shockingly expensive. And fine I guess.

#fanningbrag I go to these on the reg and agree probably the best high quality.  If you just want to see how big of a check you can drop have to add in Corvino with Mercury Room chaser, any of the above mentioned nice steak places, Piiropos (sp?) up north is pretty spendy and good.

good call on piropos.  REALLY simple and REALLY quality.  Nice view too at night.

You can drop 200$ in a minute at any of those on a date

$200 for a dinner makes me want to puke, but that's just me.

That would be like $200 in the toilet for reals!

I don't at all mind spending $200 on dinner but I've never once thought it was worth it. It's just a thing to do really.

Same with hotels. $1k a night suites are no more comfortable than the average $150/night business hotel but sometimes you just want to spend some money

I'd just rather blow that $ on playoff tickets or a bowl game or something, but we all have our things.

Spending 3x more on food will get you a much better return on your money than 3x hotel spend unless you are just one that likes spas and crap.

Expensive food and hotels make you feel like a much bigger bigshot than playoff tickets imho

Yeah, but I get to look back at said events and smile my ass off. Like, BOOM! I just day dreamed about that Mahomes run against the Titans and how rough ridin' badass that moment was IRL.

I agree big fat sports event is much more worth it than some super expensive meal.

I watched the mahomes run at home for free then got up and took a piss in a clean toilet all the while not risking my life at arrowhead stadium, it was great.

does looking at pictures of nice hotel rooms compare?

I don’t know, this is a nice hotel

you’d have to drag me to arrowhead for any game
