XT, was it a tough decision to go on trt? I’ve thought about it.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

Go get the blood test to see where you are at.  Once I saw where my number was it was an easy decision.  Depending on insurance, it will probably cost you $100 to $200 a month.  If you have any other questions, give me a call.

I do some multi-vitamins with test support and notice a difference if you want a more moderate approach.  I can tell a difference when I take it vs when I forget.

I mean, I don’t think I have low T. But dudes are hopping on trt and getting testosterone levels into the 1,000s and walking around feeling like Superman all day and night while dropping body fat like a bad habit or so I’ve heard.

Isn't the worry that you end up like Meat Loaf in Fight Club?

I think that is from SARMs. Hgh gives you Zac Efron/Joe Rogan face. Dude’s faces usually change a bit from trt but a lot of that is fat loss and beards/eye brows growing in thicker.

I’ve always been pretty averse to pharmaceuticals and the like in general.

It would be cool to know what it feels like to walk around w 1,000+ testosterone levels tho.

Another drawback is that it’s not easy to get off of.

Yes.  I take it with a collagen peptide in the morning or while I am lifting.  Also forgot to mention I’m also taking HGH.

I do a scoop of 5g creatine every morning with some greens chowder and electrolytes. I don’t “lift” but just do it anyway. Do some dumbbell work 5 days a week but not anything strenuous. But I think creatine is good for more stuff.

Why would one take creatine if they don't lift?

Quote from: AI
Even without working out, creatine can provide benefits like increased energy levels for daily activities, improved cognitive function (including memory and reasoning), potential protection against neurological damage, and may even support bone health and overall cellular function, making it beneficial for people with low activity levels or those looking to enhance their daily energy and brain function.
Key benefits of taking creatine without exercise:
Enhanced cognitive performance:
Studies suggest creatine can improve short-term memory, reasoning, and overall cognitive function, potentially benefiting those with mild cognitive decline or experiencing brain fatigue.
Reduced fatigue:
Creatine can help combat general fatigue by supporting energy production within cells, even during low-intensity daily activities.
Potential neuroprotection:
Research indicates creatine may protect brain cells from damage caused by injury or neurodegenerative diseases.
Muscle support:
Although muscle growth is maximized with exercise, creatine can still help maintain muscle mass and function even without intense workouts.
Improved bone density:
Emerging research suggests creatine may play a role in promoting bone health.
Antioxidant properties:
Creatine has antioxidant capabilities that can help protect cells from damage caused by free radicals.

I take gelatin over collagen, supposedly same benefits and way cheaper. A little more prep though, but I just mix the chowder with a little cold water and then pour my cofee over it in the morning to dissolve it all. 30 seconds to prepare.

I also recently started trt. Too soon to notice much except the increased libido lol.

What's the consensus here on collagen peptides? Whenever I think of taking it based on what I see generally, I then read other stuff that says there isn't any scientifically proven benefits of it yet? Anyone have any real life experiences with this stuff. Trying to protect my joints here.

Also, I'm an off and on creatine taker. I took it a lot when I was really lifting, but I don't take it that much anymore. I find that i'm about 5lbs heavier when I take it. I believe that is water weight for the most part. Also, I've read that you basically have to take it every day to get much benefit. I did just recently learn that it may have other benefits than just getting me huge so I will probably look in to it further.

I don't take creatine because if I did I would be so jacked I wouldn't be able to move at all because of the insane amount of muscle mass I would have.

the collagen thing confuses me. your body consumes the peptides and breaks them down into amino acids, which are then used to build proteins. your body doesn't know the difference between the types of protein in a way that it will use different proteins for different purposes.

it's kind of like saying "you should eat more beef heart to make your heart stronger." doesn't make any sense. just eat protein.
