Not to sidetrack the discussion, but this widely quoted phrase in the media is complete bullshit:
"The embassy was once heavily fortified, but security measures have been relaxed"
Even before the stabbing, security was higher than I've ever seen it. They put up walls on several street blocking access to the area. They have check points at every entry where they make you show ID and search the car. Basically, they've been on high alert for an attack for weeks. And this stabbing wasn't what they were looking for.
