I've got something I would like the boards opinion on.

My bff/former roomate is getting married at the end of May and I'm the best man. I've told my GF the date a couple of times before but its still like 3 months away so whatever. Anyways last weekend she asks what date the wedding is and then says "Ooo dang it, cant go"  because one of her co-workers is getting married that day.

My first reaction was  ... Co worker? Then she mentioned that all her work friends have already planned some sort of party bus/girls trip to the wedding etc etc.

I would understand if it was just a random friend of mine getting married but this is my bff and I'm the best man.

Am I wrong for being disappointed that she is choosing to go to her co-workers wedding?

I didn't push the subject, just let her know that I'd like her at my bff's wedding and would be disappointed if she wasn't able to go...hopefully she will change her mind.

I'll probably talk to her and let her know that its important for me that she is there, don't want to force her to come though. Ya know?

Its a co-worker that has only been there less than 2 years. I think the main reason she wants to go is because all her BFF co-workers are going and they had started planning some girls weekend event type thing around it.
