This girl I'm seeing right now doesn't watch any sports. And if she had to pick a college team it would be Nebraska where all her family is from. It's kind of a bummer. But not as huge of a deal as I thought it would be.

Y-L_A said it pretty well. Both of us are willing to get out of our comfort zone to do things the other enjoys.

Just saying that if you ever plan to settle down with her, expect to have to deal with the whole issue of why you were gone at a football game all day while she cleaned the house by herself argument.

Luckily my wife is probably a bigger wildwildcat fan than me.  The only related argument we get in is which of us has to stay at home with the kids while the other gets to go to the game when the grandparents can't babysit.

Not surprisingly CNS Casey is completely wrong here.  Mrs Bread doesn't give a damn about college sports and it's never been an issue.  In fact I much, much, much prefer it.  I get to watch games in peace or go to them without her and she's never judged me about why I give a crap.  If you don't have things you like to do separately, you're mumped.  Doing everything together is a recipe for a terrible marriage.  Also, women that a really into sports are suspect.  Just look at willesgirl.  I'm not saying it's definitely bad news, but it certainly isn't good news.

Bread, I am saying this as your bro and because I want to see you doing well.  Your wife hates you and totally looks forward to you being gone at sporting events.

Fully agree on liking different stuff, but sports is a must.  I spend waaaaaay too much time on it and would catch either half the games I do now, or would catch a whole bunch of crap for being gone a bunch.
