What field do you work in, steve dave? I can honestly say that I have never come across a crying woman at the office.

Good point. I've never come across crying men, either.

What if SD is in the military stationed in Afghanistan and people are crying when their buddies get killed and SD is just walking around the barracks all  :dunno: and then back to his BBSing and Armying...

I think SD works in the porn industry and everybody is sad because they have sex for money and are statistically much more likely to have been molested as a child.  Once one starts in crying on set, it's like a mudslide of sadness and self-loathing.
My prescience is fully engorged.  It throbs with righteous accuracy.  I am sated.

I couldn't imagine steve dave whoring himself out to that industry. :nono:

Maybe he works with a bunch of lawyers. I've heard that lawyers have a higher than normal rate of depression because a lot of puds take up the profession and they just can't take the Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) portion of society hating them.

He's a director.  That's why he doesn't cry with them.  VLSDIQ.

Just called an employee into my office to discuss her performance. As I slide a sheet of metrics across the desk towards her the tears started rolling down her face. I finally just said "take a minute to compose yourself, go back to your desk, and don't leave until you finish that file you are working on."
I got a guy on the other line about some white walls

Our boss had a team meeting today to talk about how much we're trending down. This time of year, it's common in our industry, but this is at a record low. The girl that kisses ass to him 24/7 for promotional concerns started to tear up and said "What can I do (boss name), I will do anything, I want you to be proud of us." I wanted to punch her in the face. Nobody likes the office kiss ass.

i've had to "mentor" a new employee through some calls recently. first sign of anything out of the ordinary she instantly throws it over to me. after each one she has said that she wants to cry. and it makes me mad.

It's only going to get worse. I would find a new job and industry before it's too late if I were you.

This thread actually helped me handle this situation today. I knew I should offer to step out for a few minutes to give time for composure, but my offer was declined. Felt pretty

I mean, the other person felt pretty  :bawl: , but I felt pretty
