Then we went out to the parking lot and took shots out of a rubber chicken.

That's awesome.  <- (except with a rubber chicken)

awesome thread

I know it is super powertucky to say this, but I'll never forget the feeling when Daniel Thomas carried the pain of the Prince years out of the Bill on his broad shoulders during 17-10. It was just a glorious afternoon.

Future Mrs. SB's first game out at BSFS. Was tremendous, no shame in it. Then we went out to the parking lot and took shots out of a rubber chicken.

Guys I might binge today and watch an old Dillon's. Which one should I watch? I have the 1993 one in Lawrence on VHS.

If I didn't live in the DFW area, I'd be inviting myself over to watch the '93 game with you right now even though we aren't yet friends IRL.

 :emawkid:

hey I'm moving there

but not until next week

and I don't have the '93 game on vhs

1999, Beasley taking his sweet time in the pocket, rolls right and tells Morgan to go deep, 88 yard TD.

Also, the final Dillon's featuring Ron Prince, when my "Fire Prince" baghead ignited a revolution.

And what a quick revolution it was. I think it is funny Ranni had to ride back with the K-State cops because the team wouldn't let him on the bus.

I think there may have been an airplane banner initiative in advance of that loss that played a role as well...

The Uber-elite Emily Jones.

Bill was so happy.

"Emily, I LOVE chocolate chip cookies" and he literally had this  look on his face. He and TLBL were amazing,  I watched that from a hotel in Garden City and it may be my favorite Dillons ever.

Sidenote, the old FSN may have had the two best sideline reporters in the game with Knoxy and Emily Jones.

Nah, I'm pretty sure it was the paper bag I put over my head.

Also, here is that pass from Beasley to Morgan:

our super-awesome team last year was only up 7 at half...at home..to a 1-11 jayhawk football team.  it took some mishaps by them to start the 2nd half to make it a blowout.  had they not of, it's a different game.  we couldn't stop them in the 1st half.

Not debatable, the first half was strange, but we finished the game averaging over 10 yards per play on offense.

Also, for the 2004 comparos...

2004 K-State:
Off: 5.0 YPP, 0.41 PPP
Def: 5.6 YPP, 0.49 PPP

2004 Kansas:
Off: 4.3 YPP, 0.33 PPP
Def: 5.0 YPP, 0.31 PPP

2013 K-State:
Off: 6.4 YPP, 0.53 PPP
Def: 5.3 YPP, 0.35 PPP

2013 Kansas:
Off: 4.4 YPP, 0.23 PPP
Def: 5.8 YPP, 0.43 PPP

Cats 35 - Hawks 13

Was there. Glorious afternoon for a football contest. Above is the icon of a day when WildWildCats just mushed their faces into the pavement over and over and over.
