yes that’s true, the entire eyeball is different shades of black.  does the eye mesmerize you?

I'm still taking the loss of Norm Macdonald pretty hard.

Guys, Doggie SF growled and tried to bite my foot today. She was trying to get at a ground squirrel or something and I used my foot to push her back and she growled and tried to bite my foot. She knew immediately that she mumped up and backed away as I alpha'd her ass to the house and she ran into the kennel. It wasn't too bad, but I had hoped she was over being from the streets. She did this a couple of times with food when we first adopted her, but is loving and sweet as crap 99.9% of the time. She just has that part of her past still in there I guess. She is my first adopted dog. I've normally gotten a pure bred lab that I could have choked to death and they wouldn't even get mad about it. It wasn't too terrible, but I worry a bit about the kids or worse, a neighbor kid. She has only done this a couple of times during specific situations like this, but I don't know. Should I be worried?

#2 has temporarily adopted another dog, Captain, from the future inlaws.  Tater, Sherman, and Captain had a play session in the yard last weekend.

some dogs react better to different kinds of discipline...i've had dogs that you could spank a little bit if they mumped up and they learned from it, but i've got one now that tries to eff me up if i do that...but he is great with positive reinforcement only....

Made that much better with that group of majestic doggos having a fine time playing in it.

they have not met yet, although the breeder did socialize her with her two adult cats and two kittens and they apparently got along well.  she’ll meet scout next week, right now letting her get settled in and comfortable.
