It sucks for a school like KSU, that is more student/ undergrad focused than some of the more research focused schools.  They look down on us because of that stuff, but if we were in a group like the B10 our school would be helped out a lot.

nope.

See Penn St.

Plus, isn't one of the focuses of K-State 2025 to become more research focused?  (not that I really think that being more research focused is better, but it is what gets you into all the cool clubs)
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

Yes

Are we regressing in this area?  I can't tell if we've made progress what with all the false admissions statistics and all.

Houston is also awful

Lately though there's a squawk running around town there in a goEMAW shirt, plus they're producing a special guest for MOAP2.5, so Houston's gotten a little better imo.

Yeah, I've never been to Phoenix, but I have a hard time believing it's worse than Houston.

Been to both, and I'm also skeptical that it's worse than Houston.  Albeit I havent' been all around suburbia in either.  Would rather deal with native AZ/Mexicans than Texans.

No, to only drop from 130 to 142 after jumping from 55% to 98.5% acceptance rate is pretty good.  Only a few years ago we didn't even get a ranking number.

I'll put my seal of approval on this if you make NYC 1A and San Diego 1B because they are good for different reasons, but equally good.

those are defined by city boundary, which is pretty arbitrary.  metro area is better.  if i'm talking about most populated cities, i'd like to include miami and exclude san antonio.

To say Phoenix is crappier than Houston means you've never been to either.

I've been to Houston and Detroit, and I thought that Detroit was far worse.  But maybe that goes without saying.  Never been to Phoenix.

:nono:

spent significant amount of time in both. Both are mostly shitty, but Houston has more and larger pockets of non-shittyness.

Move LA to where Phoenix is and move Phoenix under Dallas and this becomes more realistic (I'd swap Dallas and SA and move Chicago under both).  If you're only including city limits in this exercise you can't seriously have LA above any city other than Detroit.  LA proper is an unlivable shithole.

FYI - Philadelphia and Boston are where all the ignorant white trash that are too poor to live in NYC live.  It's like comparing Belton and Raymore to Overland Park.  Atlanta makes the DFW highway system seem simple.

Any opinion that has DFW and Houston metro areas below LA, SF (I'm sorry Oakland and San Jose destroy SF's awesomeness), ATL, Boston, Philly, and DC must be taken with a grain of ignorant dipshit salt.  This person probably wears a vest with pins of all the neato touristy places he's been while snapping pics with his 35mm camera and wearing  black knee high socks.  "I can't take all them damned mexercans in texas" :cyclist:

NYC is clearly the best city.

Who finds ATL highways confusing other than simple rubes?
