what is there not to like about SWA?  free checked bags, usually one of the cheapest and pretty great customer service.  pay the extra $20/round trip for early-bird and pick anywhere you want to sit.  jesus.

SWA is the only direct to Vegas from Omaha.  United and Delta are the only directs to NYC.  We have no directs to LA  :frown:

those directs to NYC are kind of surprising. Are they townie regional birds or widebodies?

i like frontier airlines, mainly because of the personal tv screens and funny jokes they say about the animals that are painted on the planes.

townie commuter jets.  2 x 1 Bombardiers.  I kind of like it for work because I don't have to sit next to anyone.  on the Delta flight you have to park way out in the corner of Laguardia and they bus you to the terminal   The two daily United flights are via Newark.

Frontier is pretty great.  Omaha has a ton of Frontier service.  If I'm travelling west there's about a 50% chance I'm flying Frontier out of Omaha.

at least the bus is at laguardia and there aren't any elites there to look down on you. If you had to get bussed in at JFK oh man that would just be humiliating.

I dont have to drive crap.  Travel industry connections can get me a free shuttle.  Who is paying $50 for parking? SD and other rubes who are not in MHK or don't have mediocre travel connections

EuroCat once flew through Midway. But it was on a private jet.

What does this mean?

During the Berkshire Hathaway shareholders convention I like to watch all the private jets flying in and try to guess which one is Jay-Z's.

Was looking for United miles, is the 40k as good as it gets? And in this case, am I just better off getting the sapphire or ink? TIA

No, mrs. dave and I each just got the 65k (50k after first purchase, 5k for adding another user, 10k after spending 15k or something that I'm not going to do) plus $50 statement credit, no first year fee.

I imagine that place would be absolutely gorgeous in August. I am planning on going to Doe Bay Fest on Orca Island around the same time if I can get tickets.
