How the mob of asylum seekers? The invasion as it were?
My girlfriend and I held the gate open for them. :)

I bought my marijuana smoking pipe in tiajuana  :Carl:

Also some "diamond" earrings for my girlfriend at the time.

Then got blitzed at a bar that had it's own in house tattoo shop.

Two more travel questions for the TravelCats out there:

1) Mrs. Wondermeal and Li'l Miss Wondermeal are going to Harry Potter World this weekend. Will spend one day at each park. Anyone been and have protips for them?

2) Decided to split up our Hawaii vacation to 4 days Oahu, 4 days Kauai. Staying at a Grand Hyatt Kauai thanks to the credit card thread. Have been to Oahu before and have good recommendos, have not been to Kauai. Will be doing Waimea Canyon, Napali Coast boat tour (no way I'm getting in a helo)...mainly looking for Kauai food recommendos, but will take activity recommendos as well. Extra points for anyone who recommends a divey/food truckey/local MichiganCat-ey type place.

Jax Beach to New Smyrna. Not much difference in my opinion. I prefer to go a bit further south to Space Coast or to the west side.

The worst beaches in FL are from Georgia down to New Smyrna.

the worst beaches in florida are the beaches in florida.  first of all,  how about some toxic sludge, and cold water and nasty disgusting water?  perfect, let's head to florida!

A shark attack killed a 65-year-old man as he was swimming off the coast of Maui Saturday morning, according to authorities.

The man, who was from California, encountered the shark about 60 yards off of Kaanapali Beach at around 8:30 a.m. local time

But it's at least the third attack in the state in 2019. In April, another 65-year-old tourist from California was attacked off the island of Hawaii, and authorities had to close Hanalei Bay on the north shore of Kaua'i after a shark attacked a surfer in February.

hawaii, shark attack/kill innocent people capital of the world

If you're not 65 and not from California, you'll be fine.

i honestly doubt that the sharks care where their innocent victim/meals come from.  they may not even know that these people were from there.
it just so happens that these two meals were from california but not every shark meal is from the golden state.

Elderly Californians are easily confused with seals due to their leathery sun-kissed skin. Vacationers have no need to worry.

I flew on a lufty A380 last weekend. I was like "wow what a ginormous plane I'm going to walk around" but I had premium economy which is probably the smallest section and they treat like its own cabin curtained off and it felt super tiny but premium economy was pretty great

Well folks, finally time for an update to this thread.  Kat Kid loaded up the family in his “new to us” 2017 Chrysler Pacifica and hit the road to Avon, CO where we are staying at a very large timeshare courtesy of the in-laws. I will update with some pics later for the true travel heads. But just wanted to get everyone on alert that there is news incoming.  Thank you for all of the dedicated readers of this travel blog!
