Open to suggestions on things to do and places to eat, etc. Obviously, we'll hit the high points on the tourism list, but if there are other can't miss spots, let me know. Neither of us have been before. where are you staying, and will you have a car?Staying at the Hyatt at Fisherman's Wharf (on points, duh). Don't have a car as of now, but would consider it for a day trip. Thanks for all the suggestions so far.

MHS70Almost on scholarshipPost #217MyFanPageAdd BuddyIgnore Re: OT Downtown LA ReplyStay in your hotel and leave LA as soon as you can. I ventured out, got hit up by angry panhandlers right out of the hotel, used my credit card in a restaurant or sports bar and ended up with over $3000 of fraudulent charges on my card. The place is dirty and there is a dark slim on everything. I assume it is from the smog. Cab ride from the airport to our hotel cost more than flying from Kansas City to LA. Would have to say it was easily the worst business trip experience I ever had. Can't think of any reason to go back.5/17 11:22 AM | IP: Logged

I would love to visit Mumbai and India in general. What is the flight time on the Newark to Mumbai? Has to be a rough ridin' monster. Hope you are in business or better.

At least it will be better than USAir on a 737-(300- I think). I will never fly on one of those pieces of crap again...may as well be in coach.
k_m will be traveling with a young filly to NYC sometime this later summer/early fall. Where should we fly into, where should we stay? First time for both parties.
