21 for europe

I like the old buildings

I like riding the train.

I enjoy the history and in general more laid back lifestyle they have, that includes the train/sbaun/ubaun/tube/metro whatever they have.

No idea but based on context clues it has to be somewhere south of KC but not tropical. I'm going to guess Tuscon?

Anyone been to Puerto Rico? Heading this winter for the first time. Resort seems nice. Its a wife work thing. Doubt we will do much wandering since its a resort and we are only there for a few days, but looking forward to it.

I was there in 2009 and it was a fun trip. It's where I fell in love with Rum. If you can they have kayak trips into the bioluminescent bay that was incredible. It's a night thing and was one of the coolest things I've done.

SF, I would take a case of paper towels and pass them out while there. They love that.

I rarely fly AA but flew them down to Cabo in 2019. When the plane landed back in the US of A the flight attendant was going down the aisle asking people to apply for a AA credit card, 60k with no spend minimum.

I jumped all over it, spent like $100 on the card just to be safe then saw that the points hit closed it.

Due to Covid I had kind of forgot I had them until I got an email a couple of months ago saying they expired on december 30th.

Luckily our katz are kicking ass so I just went ahead and booked 2 MCI/DFW round trip tickets for the weekend of the big12 championship game for 58k points. My thinking is that once we officially clench the berth the prices will go up and I would have to use real money so I might as well book them now.

the frontier thing is smoke and mirrors. you can buy $29 frontier tickets pretty much anytime but then always end up paying $300+ for bags, seats, etc.

Do they even fly into an airport or do they land in some field in the middle of nowhere, blindfolded, and throw your bags at you? Asking for a friend.

I remember when Frontier was a nice little regional carrier with free DirecTV at every seat.

They have occasional direct flights to MCO from here so we fly the fam to Disneyworld on them some. It’s a pleasant experience imo. We buy all the extra crap and room and stuff so it’s about the same price as SWA most times after all that. I probably prefer the full bells and whistles Frontier direct to the SWA direct all else equal.

Rain forest excursion is cool. Beaches are nice. Traffic is insane.

airport layovers I put "passed here" and not "stopped here" which I think would mean like stopped at a gas station.

lived: obvious (KS and NE for me)
stayed: overnight stay in a hotel or whatever
visited: drove there to actually do something there. like drove to shitty rhode island to visit the rhode island museum of bullshit.
stopped here: stopped for lunch or something on your way somewhere else. (I don't think I had any of these)
passed here: drove through a state without stopping or lay over at an airport there.
I've been around a bit per the rules of SD.
