What does Brian Gates do for a living that doesn't involve calling recruits?

he just calls recruits and works.  works and calls recruits.  he's the only one of them that isn't lazy.

Guys-  He sent 4 or 5 emails in the last few weeks AND THAT'S JUST THE ONES HE CAN REMEMBER!!  Cut him some slack here, it's been an uneventful recruiting year and, as such, needs a week or two to recover before he starts HITTING THE PHONES AGAIN!!!

This is really freaking hilarious. Fitz starts out by saying it was a very uneventful year, so not much going on. Employees come on and defend their lack of information by saying they have been swamped, give us some slack, there's only so many emails we can send.

Re: does Severino refrain from talking to GPC staff?...

I hear you and you're probably correct. But sometimes you can only go so long having people disrespect your daily work, especially considering the effort I put in on this signing class over the last month. I'm not looking for a pat on the back or sympathy. I'm going to continue honoring your requests for players and value your insight. However, there just comes a point where you have to stick up for your work and today's that time.

Re: does Severino refrain from talking to GPC staff?...

I'm not sure why I'm even replying to this as I fear that I might get shot for being a CUSTOMER who is serving a complaint or inquiring why something has not been accomplished. I think my biggest issue and for many on this site is that, in most months, prior to the last few we might have one or two updates a month on recruits. Also, a few folks outside of this site who I'm quite certain have busy jobs themselves managed to get Severino in no time. Hell, after one update was done announcing it Mr. KU Robinette had Severino that night to do a story the following day.

Now I'll stop in this thread and you can go back to getting all busying up...I can't wait for the next recruiting update in May. I know I'm psyched. toodle do.

I wonder what the GPC establishment thought of Hatter rocking the boat like that.

You don't want to make RMC mad.  He may talk down to you in short, half sentences.

As a Ring Of Fame Member, you pretty much get full immunity.

But, the Manhatter walks a pretty fine line with his passive aggressiveness over there.  Most don't even appear to know what's going on.

Jim Sicard is having a nice mini-meltdown.  He starts a new thread, it gets 1-starred, and he deletes it because he doesn't think the posters on Wabash appreciate him enough.  He has now announced his 1-week notice to the board that he is leaving and openly looking for a new recruiting site.
