As a UofA alum, I can tell you there is exactly ZERO chance in hell that the UofA wants Frank as their next head coach.  And even if they did, Frank would be rough ridin' stupid to take the job....his sideline act would last about 1 game before the entire bible beating state was calling for his head.  I have no worries.

This.

Also, a lot of  :opcat:. Not sure that bodes well for an EYE-talian like Frank.

As noted in the Fake Patty Day thread, PAY FRANK shirts are available in green for this Thursday's St. Patrick's Day tilt against USU.

Even with the amazing search function on this board I was still unable to find this.  Where is this thread at?

I wonder if the Arkansas reporter guy has even been out of the state if he actually believes that Arkansas is the only "Fish Bowl" job out there.

Like I said in my other posts.  Look for rumors to keeping flowing out of the K-State Ath. Dept. as they have been until K-State gets bounced.  Looks like Martin is ready to maximize his situation (next few years look to be down for him)and is going to take offers.

K-State admins. are already taking action on a possible replacement if he decides to jump.  Their list so far looks is a mid-major job convention.  It's sad.

The fact that I am a blog writer for wildcatvictory.com, my sister works in the athletic department here at Kansas State, I am an avid poster on gopowercat.com which gets the inside information from people close to the athletic department in Brian Gates, Ryan Wallace (ect...), and I actually attend Kansas State University makes me say that your friend in the ksu athletic department is a liar. There has been no such rumor circulating here, and we are not looking currently for a replacement. Just two weeks ago Frank Martin visited 5 star recruit Perry Ellis to watch his game. Perry Ellis has narrowed his list to 5, and Arkansas is not on it. Just saying if he was for sure leaving for Arkansas, I don't think he would be recruiting the best player in the history of the state of Kansas to go to Kansas State.

If we were looking for a replacement our candidates would consist of Brad Underwood, our assistant coach, and Lon Kruger All-American player for Kansas State/Coach in the 80's. We wouldn't settle for a mid-major coach, even though nothing is wrong with that. Look at aTm with Mark Turgeon (former Wichita State head coach), who is also on your wish list.

Quote from other poster:
I'm not going to get in a pissin' match over who's source is more concrete.  However, my guy is about as high as you can get in the department.  I'd tell you more, but obviously I'm not going to put him in a bad situation.  Every school has a stand-by list of candidates.  You would be foolish not to have one and if you think K-State isn't dusting theirs off you would be crazy.

You would also think a blog writer (anybody who has a keyboard can be a blog writer) would know that just because a coach changes schools doesn't mean he won't continue recruting the same kids to his new school.    I follow recruiting very well, and let me tell you Perry Ellis is very very good.  Very good!, however at this stage he is no where near the best player to come out of Kansas.  Not sure why he would be wasting his time, as everyone knows he is a KU lock.  KU gets whomever they want from that state.

Also, Lon Kruger ain't walking thru that door.  He's been there, done that.

'tucks "with access to inside info" setting him straight.  Boom Roasted.

I would imagine that their user names list is about as stereotypical as we would think it to be.

If we ever enter a situation where our head coaches are Bill (and/or Sean) Snyder and Brad Underwood, I'm taking an indefinite hiatus until that 'situation' is resolved.

you probably missed it where a member of BOTC's "staff" was advocating for Brad, didn't you?

advocating may be the wrong word....defending him maybe? I dunno. Basically Underwood was brought up as a possible replacement. I said i would not want that. He asked why. It went downhill from there. The person also thought Doc Sadler is turning things around at NU. He may post here not sure. :ohno:
