This is the kind of succinct information I've been looking for. Thanks PP

bracket matrix disagrees, but I'd like to think the committee values the #2 league in the nation, a little bit more than the rest of these bracketologist.

Cats are likely in no matter what happens tonight.

With a loss, the combination of these 3 factors isn't good.. our 8-11 record vs B12, 5 top 100 wins and RPI around 60

I think what will help us and why we could get in..  We played well in Our 6 games away from home vs Tourney teams.

Win over 2 seed Baylor and 8/9 seed OSU
Loss to 1 seed KU by 2
Losses to 6 seeds Iowa St/Maryland by 5 & 1
Loss to 4 seed WV by 19

However much the committee values in strength of the Big 12, they will punish KSU more for its pathetic noncon.

regardless of whether or not the committee "likes" our performances this year we will lose our first round game in embarrassing fashion but it won't be oscar weber's fault because we tried hard

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

Hey, at least we will have made a tournament appearance (official basketball currency).  Plus, another notch on the ol' tournament appearances banner!

I can't believe people simultaneously wanting oscar out, and wanting us in the tournament.

Mutually exclusive.

Guys Cuse went 10-8 in the best conference.  They're in, we're out (thank god).  Sorry.

I don't see any reason why a new AD has some obligation to keep a BBall coach that most people want gone. :dunno:

I think it is also possible that we lose in embarrassing fashion but it won't be oscar Weber's fault because the players just didn't try hard enough.

Not related to oscar, I want there to be as few more games of any sort as possible.  It's March, DST starts this weekend, it's time for this all to go away until November.

How many times in the last 10 years has a coach been fired after making the NCAAs?

No idea, it certainly isn't unprecedented. Can you tell me how many coaches that have made it to the NCAA tournament that has lost almost all of his fan support?
