Ties involving more than two teams.
a. Results from the collective head-to-head competition during the regular season among the tied teams in a mini round-robin format, ranking the tied teams by winning percentage from highest to lowest will be used to determine the seeds.

If during this process two teams remain tied with the same winning percentage, the two-team tiebreaking system is used, starting with head-to-head results.

espn seems to think vandy is comfortably in. with a loss in the sec tourney wouldn't they be the first 15 loss at large team ever?

Yes, and they lost by 20 points to Mizzou. That loss alone should automatically disqualify them.

Illinois State currently losing by 21 to Wichita State in the MVC final. Their only top 50 win all season was against the Shockers who have now beaten them convincingly twice. Gotta wonder if ISU is still in as this resume is very suspect. I think we stack up much better them despite a worse W-L percentage.

If Marquette, Providence, Seton Hall, Michigan, Mich St, Northwestern are In...Then 6 spots could be open. Here are the candidates. I don't think we are in right now and need that win vs Baylor

Illinois St --25-6 record. Only 2 top 100 wins (Wich St, New Mexico) Both at home. SOS is 171. 3 of their losses are Wsu and Tcu. Other 3 losses are teams 97, 112, 232 RPI.

Xavier - Their starting PG got injured and is done. He was ave 15.0 Pts. They are 4-6 since his injury. 2 of the wins are DePaul (RPI 227). They finished 7th and 9-9 in Big East. They only went 3-9 vs the Top 6 in the conference. 19-12 overall. 3-8 vs Top 50. 8 top 100 wins. RPI is 33.

USC -- They went 13-0 in Non Con. Beat SMU. They went 10-8 in P12. 6 of their wins are vs 3 bottom P12 teams (RPI 172 or higher). Went 1-5 vs Oregon/AZ/Ucla. Lost only matchups with 4th place Utah and 6th place Cal. They only have 5 Top 100 (2 are top 50) wins.

Cuse -- 18-13 record. 16 of those wins are in Carrier Dome. Do have 6 Top 50 wins. RPI is 76. 10-8 ACC record. Bad losses to 3 teams (120, 130, 210 RPI.) Be interesting how committee views them with only 2-10 record on road/neutral. They play Miami in the 8vs9 Acc matchup

Vandy - 17-14 record. They have #3 SOS and Swept FLA. Those 2 things may help get them in despite record. Have 3 other top 50 wins ( Iowa St, Arkansas, S.Carolina). A loss to aTm in SEC would meen 17-15 record.

Illinois-- 17-13 and 8-10 in B10. VCU and Byu only top 100 non con wins (#23,#64). Went 4-6 vs Top 50 conference teams. Went 4-3 vs 51-100 conference teams. Lost 2x to Penn St(14-16 record), 1x to Rutgers (13-17). Very good #19 SOS.

Iowa -- 18-13, 10-8 and 71 RPI. Only top 100 non con win was Iowa St. Went 4-5 vs Top 50 Conference teams including winning at Wisc, at Maryland and beating league champ Purdue. Went 4-3 vs 51-100 conf teams. 2 losses to 108,145 teams

Wake Forest -- 17-12, 9-9 ACC. RPI 28 and SOS 12. Just 3-9 vs Top 50. All 3 were in conference, Lville Miami and at VT. Don't have bad loss.

Rhode Island-- 21-9, 13-5 in Atlantic 10. RPI 41 and SOS 55. 2 top 50 wins( Cincy VCU). 5 top 100 wins. Losses to 125, 211 teams.

We should be in over all those teams and Marquette, Prov, Michigan state, and Seton Hall. Michigan has no business in the tourney.
