Guys, I just had kind of a sad realization.

With the new limestone wall, the only thing left of the original KSU stadium is the poured in place concrete risers that make up the lions share of the lower seating bowl.

Otherwise, there is nothing left of the original KSU Stadium.

I always thought the wall would be nice & cool to have, but I was no where near as excited as everyone else.  I thought $3mm could be better spent somewhere else, but if that's what the people paying for it wanted, then so be it.

However, I was wrong.  That picture makes it look 100x better.  Maybe it's just the angle, but it frames the seating so well.  Makes it look like a much nicer stadium from the field.

I get that, but I always thought the wall was the single "cheapest," easiest thing that could be done to dress up the stadium and make it look better, especially on TV. I think that'll hold true every time we see that awesome wall on TV this fall.
