demo the east side, and make the WSC go all the way around.

That would be suite.

If it is connected with Bramlage, that will only increase the utility of the space and it could end up being a really good money maker year round.

This makes me feel like it could actually happen.

That's where I think the hotel came in; it's almost like you have a built in convention space there.

LHC Bill Snyder Family Stadium, aka The MOST Polished Turd

I've always wondered what a polished turd would look like.

I think it would look like amber.

A simple google image search turned this up:

North Campus Corridor:

I don't see any bars in that plan.

Nope.  nor residential.

Yeah, need to see more, but still, love seeing master plan stuff for all areas to make Manhattan even more awesome.

SB is kinda :dubious: about this stuff ever since the downtown redevelopment air balled so incredibly hard from what was originally proposed.

I don't know entirely what was proposed, but I think the downtown redevelopment has been pretty solid.  It's dense(ish).  Like the south end, multiple hotels, greenspace, discovery center, etc.  Seems like 4th St. has been drastically improved.  Don't love the big box north end, I guess.  Seems like the development plan prioritized revamping Poyntz and, to date, feel like they're executing this properly.

I dunno.  Guess I'd give it a B+, A-???   :dunno:  granted, I'm only in mhk for football/basketball games.

Saw the construction in person last October, but didn't see anything crazy about it. Just looked like what you're posting, adding seats, that's about it.

Either Neyland or, ready for this one?  Sanford.  To me, both are the most "put together."

The swamp is really cool too though.  The writing on the walls in the four corners?  So neat.

If I had to pick ONE, it'd be Sanford as well, Dlew.

Sanford Stadium is gorgeous and has a really "classic" look. Or it WAS...until they put that bizarrely out of place third deck up there about 8 years ago with those weird, non-elite lights.

Whoa, yeah.  I didn't even notice that third deck.  What's up with that?

Side note: we should collaborate on a stadium thread where we go conference by conference and talk about the best, worst and weirdest stadiums for each one!
