meh, love the '04 comparisons but they are the work of clowns.
the '13 team will return 7 or 8 starters on offense (including the entire offensive line) and will likely add a player or two who can contribute right away. The '04, or '05 for that matter, team really didn't have that electric running dynamic at the QB position. It is possible we'll have two guys who can do that with Sams and a potential Marshall commit.
You might make a few comparisons to the defense but I would let this class unfold before doing so. I really don't see a Blake Seiler type (240-250lb walk-on) lining up as a starter at DT. Me thinks we'll have better corners than Louis Lavender and safeties better than Jesse tetuan and Marcus Watts. I mean it's highly likely that 3 of the 4 starting positions in the secondary are FS-Zimmerman, SS-Evans, CB-Riyahd Jones....
this isn't '04. stop with the shenanigans.
