Brager is a kid I really like for left tackle. Look at some of these future first round LTs. They were 2 star type TEs, DTs, or even DE on recruiting profiles. Kid has good feet, frame, and length. I like this one. Watched his film last summer when it was known we were talking to him.

Either Waters or Marshall are good bets.

I really like aspects of both. Waters has great mechanics and has a very polished pocket presence. He's a D1 game ready QB.

I think Marshall has a much greater upside, but Waters is more than capable of leading a strong offense.

I think sams is more likable/better leadership potential that ell did. Ell became a good leader but he wasn't as a soph/junior.

Coleman leaning KU is post visit affection. I'm sure if he opens his mind to us, we'll get him.

Because Marshall isn't an idiot. Any kid with his skills, YouTube, and a functioning brain could see that he's a perfect fit here. If we wanted him, we could get him.

I'm sorry, sd. You know I respect your opinion, but if we don't get Marshall, and he goes to IU, it's because we let him go to IU. Losing kids to Charlie Weis and his Super Bowl rings is one thing, but there is no way we lose a kid like that to Indiana unless he doesn't want to face any form of competition (possible) or we're favoring another option (possible).

This staff may not be full of great recruiters, but Jesus, they aren't THAT bad.

Also, on Marshall, he's said in the past that A) he's a quarterback, and B) he's expecting to play quarterback and (probably) start wherever he goes. He screwed up by going to Georgia, and he's not making that same mistake twice.

This is a kid that may go to a BCS school that gives him the best chance to be "the man" on Day 1, and it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that Daniel Sams is beyond legit. I could easily see Marshall leaning IU if he thinks he has to compete with Sams and he thinks we're wanting Waters more.

And if we get Waters, as much as I'd like him to come here, Marshall is off of the board.
