Kind of unsure why Sean bringing in what looks like a good prospect from one of the best programs in the nation is a bad thing.  :ck:

Davis might not be the only Metroplex player soon to join the K-State commit list. Could be a big upcoming week for K-State in Dallas.

most think it's this kid...http://rivals.yahoo.com/kansasstate/football/recruiting/player-Kolby-Listenbee-110672

he's deciding today, I think, between KSU, TCU, Texas A&M, and Texas Tech.  Would like a legit shot at QB but he is fine playing another position.  Loves Snyder and Joe Gordon.  Stud athlete w/ a lot of D-1 talent on his team.

Amoako twins might be committing soon, too.  Both have offers from Purdue and Pitt and I think Boise State may have offered since last update.

Just watched a vid on youtube of Kolby Listenbee. Guys, he wears a visor and he plays QB. :horrorsurprise:

http://rivals.yahoo.com/kansasstate/football/recruiting/player-Kolby-Listenbee-110672  :dubious:

He'll have to beat out this guy for QB: http://rivals.yahoo.com/kansasstate/football/recruiting/player-Tyler-Matthews-106949

pretty sure Bill has already died and Sean is just wearing a suit made of his skin...the zipper is safely hidden by the pants pulled up to his nipples.

SPECTACULAR!!! I  'd

Was at a track meet today and Morgan Burns ran a 10.3 wind aided 100 meter dash.  He pretty much dominated everything he ran in. Also had a 21 second 200 meter dash.

He was a pretty good pickup.  Seems raw, but will most likely benefit from a redshirt season.

Mainly, I'm glad we picked up a prep CB in this class.

the one hander

Pass catching TE that's a little undersized and "looks" slow (could be the video), but has sure hands and finds ways to get open.  Looks like a decent blocker in the few plays I've seen online.

Solid pickup.  I will give Snyder credit in the sense that he's learned to stop swinging for the fences and now he's using earlier offers to accrue solid pickups instead of sure home runs.

And we need a good pass catching TE in a bad way to develop.

jt isn't wrong.  If a kid looks like a three star from a place like Skyline, Carroll, Union, Jenks, etc., it doesn't hurt to throw him an offer and gain a commitment.

There is something to be said for taking kids from programs like that.  One, they already practice and compete at a high level, so you are more likely to know what you're going to get, and they're going to be more prepared for big time college football.  Two, there is a chance that they may be friends/cousins/tight with some better player on that roster in this class or the next class.  Or if you want to entice someone from that school to visit later on, you can pair them up on a visit with that player and hopefully enhance the quality of the visit and connection with the school.

There are also other positives like creating a good rapport with the high school's coaches (if you treat their kid right), which may help get you in the door later, etc.

All things being equal, if you're going to take a high two-star or low-three star, go do it from a powerhouse.

They held the college skills competition in Southlake- Carrol's indoor facility.  That is one bigtime program.
