Yep. Nobody wants the Cats to be awesome at football more than him. After Fatty's passing, Hatter takes the lead. I wish Hatter posted here more, I like him.

i love hatter. there's a fake manhatter on twitter who i called out last fall for being a huge phony. he pretended to not have heard of the real hatter.

Like when you do your job, and then don't fail at doing your job.

yeah. call the kid regularly. Get a feel for his mood. Ask him how classes are going. How is weightlifting going. Ask him if he's dating anyone. Ask him if he's hearing from any other coaches. Call his coach and ask how he's doing, ask if any other coaches have stopped by, and if he's working out now that the season's over. Call his parents. Basically do whatever you can within the rules to get a feel for the kids state of mind and start recruiting other QB's the second he gets jumpy.

This sounds like the right way to go about it, but when my son was being recruited he got calls from lots of different coaches. He really got tired of the ones who called almost daily. He ended up going with the one who recruited him to be a QB like he was in high school. Also the one he went with told him of his chances of playing, which were good. What say you to that?
